Israel's labour court has ruled that a general strike called today after the death of six hostages in Gaza must come to an end. Demonstrations in the country are increasingly turning on Benjamin Netanyahu, with hundreds of thousands of people on the streets last night.
Mourners out in Jerusalem for hostage's funeral
We reported earlier (see 1.12pm post) that the funeral of Hersh Goldberg-Polin, one of the six hostages found to have been killed in Gaza last week, is taking place today.
Ahead of the ceremony at 4pm (2pm UK), people lined the streets of Jerusalem carrying Israeli flags.
During the service, Israeli President Isaac Herzog is set to give a eulogy.
Protests planned outside Netanyahu's residences
The families of the remaining Gaza hostages are asking people to protest outside Benjamin Netanyahu's residences later today.
At 7pm (5pm UK), the Hostages Families Forum is calling on people to gather outside the prime minister's official residence in Jerusalem and his private home in Caesarea.
Describing it as a "large-scale demonstration", the group adds in a post on X: "Today, the hostages' families once again urge the public to leave the comfort of their homes and take the streets.
"They call on everyone to continue the fight alongside them for a deal to bring all hostages home."

Protesters are continuing to block major roads and junctions in central Tel Aviv. We watched police arrest an elderly women - it took at least five of them to force her into the van.
Police have now lined the road outside the defence ministry to push protesters back, but there is a stand-off.
The police tactics have been pretty calm so far, it has to be said, but now the general strike is over, they might decide on heavier action to clear the city's streets.
Multiple arrests as tens of thousands take to streets across Israel
At least seven more people have been arrested during protests in Tel Aviv, according to police.
Tens of thousands of people have taken to the streets across Israel's major cities in uproar over the deaths of six more hostages inside Gaza.
On the second day of demonstrations in Tel Aviv, police confirmed that seven people have been arrested for "violating public order and disrupting traffic".
They were detained after vehicles were blocked and smoke grenades were launched, a statement added.
