Voters in Kaduna Central senatorial zone have expressed satisfaction with the conduct of the presidential and National Assembly elections in the zone.
In the words of Mallam Abdullahi Tanimu, a trader, “the election was free, fair and devoid of any political intimidation.”
Hajia Salamatu, who said the election was peaceful, thanked security operatives for their uprightness in ensuring a peaceful election across the zone.
Another respondent, Alhaji Musa Arungo, said the peaceful election signified good things to come, adding that the election came at the height of suffering for Nigerians.
He further advised security organisations to keep to their promises to secure lives and property, even after the election.
Although the voting time elapses at 2.30 pm, a window of a few minutes was given to some polling units where the arrival of electoral materials was delayed.
