Lagos Guber Polls: President-elect Bola Tinubu, Rhodes-Vivour Cast Vote
The president-elect, Bola Ahmed Tinubu has cast his vote at his polling unit.
Tinubu shared photos of him voting on his Instagram page.
He captioned, “I just joined other Nigerians in exercising my civic duty in the ongoing governorship and state assembly elections. I encourage you all to go out and vote peacefully.
Tinubu cast his vote alongside his wife, at his polling unit in Alausa, Ikeja, Lagos State.
Also, the governorship candidate of the Labour Party (LP) in Lagos State, Gbadebo Rhodes-Vivour, has cast his vote at polling unit PO 045 in Anifowoshe, Ikeja.
Speaking with newsmen after casting his vote, Gbadebo said he received news of alleged voter intimidations in Ojo, Oshodi, Surulere, Imota and Isolo area of the State, adding that they are working to address the issues.
He also alleged that INEC officials were not allowed into polling units inside the Victoria Garden City (VGC) in Lekki, rather the exercise is taking place at the express road.
The LP candidate however hinted he would challenge the outcome of the guber poll.
Rhodes-Vivour is one of the frontline candidate for the Lagos governorship election. He is facing off against the incumbent Babajide Sanwo-Olu of the All Progressive Congress (APC) and Abdul-Azeez Adediran of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).
