People invited to discuss loneliness on Chatty Bus
Men are getting the chance to talk about loneliness and their wellbeing on International Men's Day aboard a special bus.
The Chatty Bus will be stationed at Norwich Bus Station from 10:00 until 14:00 GMT, with a team of experts available to discuss support services locally.
The idea was set up by Konnectbus in partnership with Walking with the Wounded and Prostate Cancer UK.
Davina Langley, head of commercial and marketing at parent company Go East Anglia, said: "Projects like the Chatty Bus are invaluable for our local communities, particularly for those living in rural areas."
The bus looks to tackle loneliness, particularly for people living in rural areas
She said buses provided a "platform for conversations".
"For some, the only time they see other people may be when they use public transport," she said.
"By providing people with the opportunity to have meaningful conversations and connections with someone on the bus, we hope to alleviate loneliness."
