Toddler suffers 'serious' and 'life-threatening' injuries in Manchester dog attack
A toddler is recovering in hospital after receiving "life-changing" facial injuries in a dog attack in Denton, Greater Manchester.

The one-year-old girl was rushed to the hospital alongside two adults - a 21-year-old woman and a 53-year-old man - who were also caught up in the incident on Thursday evening.
They have sustained serious injuries, which are not life-changing or life-threatening.
The dog was seized by specialist officers from Greater Manchester Police’s tactical dog unit - and was later humanely destroyed.
Detective Superintendent Gareth Jenkins said on Friday: "This was an awful attack that has left a one-year-old girl with serious and life-changing injuries. Her family are understandably incredibly distressed by what happened here last night.
"The family of the young girl are being supported by officers as she recovers in hospital."
The police added that a crime scene remains in place on Baslow Road, so officers can establish the facts leading up to the attack.
They are also appealing to people who may have witnessed the event around 5.30 pm on Thursday - to come forward with any information.
The police added that any footage - including CCTV, mobile, or dash cam - would assist their ongoing inquiry.
