Kyle Clifford manhunt latest: Murder suspect on loose may have crossbow; police give more details about 'targeted incident' in Bushey

Chief Superintendent Jon Simpson says the murder of the three women is believed to be a "targeted incident".

The ages of the victims were 25, 28 and 61, he says. They are all believed to be related.

Chief Supt Simpson says the "horrific incident" is believed to have involved a crossbow, but "other weapons may also have been used".

The manhunt for suspect Kyle Clifford involves armed police officers and specialist search teams "responding at pace", he says.

He reiterates that members of the public should not approach Clifford and should call 999 if they see him.

Speaking directly to the suspect, Chief Supt Simpson says: "Kyle, if you are seeing or hearing this, please make contact with the police."

A major crime inquiry has been launched and police are appealing to the public for any information related to the incident, he says.
