Diana would have '30 seconds to wipe the tears away'; Harry's war with Will intensifies - Sussexes' docuseries drop as it happened

Discussion halfway through episode four turns to the treatment of Harry's mother within the Royal Family.

As the documentary shows pictures of Princess Diana and then-Prince Charles getting out of a black Rolls Royce, Harry says: "No one sees what is happening behind closed doors.

"Back in the day my mum was in the back of the car going to engagements in floods of tears, and then my dad [was] saying 'we're almost there' and [she would have] 30 seconds to wipe the tears away, slap on some makeup and the door opens and smile, everything is fine."

In another image, the princess is seen holding her hat on her head and she appears to be in tears while sat next to a smiling Charles inside a black car.

The next photograph is of Meghan standing alone in a black hat.

Inevitably, Piers Morgan has weighed in on the latest episodes of the Harry and Meghan documentary.

In a series of six tweets about the episodes, the broadcaster criticised what he called the couple's "incessant whining".

He has been an outspoken critic of Harry and Meghan for some time.

For a look back at what was said in the first few episodes of the Harry and Meghan Netflix series, you can listen to our podcast below.

On the Sky News Daily, Niall Paterson speaks to our royal correspondent Rhiannon Mills about the reaction and possible ramifications after the first three episodes aired. Plus, LA-based entertainment journalist KJ Matthews gives us the view from America.

As expected, the Royal Family has chosen not to comment on the latest allegations from Harry and Meghan.

Both Buckingham Palace and Kensington Palace have said they will not comment - in line with the family's usual position to keep schtum.

That's despite specific allegations against heir to the throne Prince William, who was accused of "screaming and shouting" at Harry.

Prince Harry also claimed his brother's office had briefed against him.
